About me.

Picture
My name is Justin Hampole. I am a 16 year old student/athlete living in Prince George, British Columbia. I attend Duchess Park Secondary school, as well as the Engage Sport North Sports School. I compete in the sport of figure skating, of which I have been training in for nearly 10 years. I currently train at the Northern BC Centre for Skating with my coaches Rory Allen and Andrea Ludditt. My hobbies outside of skating include road biking, mountain biking, being with friends, and listening to music.

One thing that you must know about me is that I am incredibly passionate about figure skating, and sport in general. Ever since I stepped on the ice for the first time in figure skates at the age of 7, I knew that it was meant to be. I am very committed to what it takes to be a high-level athlete, and I love the challenges that sport presents me. I believe that my love for the ice mixed with my desire to be better is the root of my success so far in my skating career. The 2018-19 season will be my second season competing in the Junior level. My short program music is Sign of the Times by Harry Styles, and my long program music is Back to the Apple by Count Basie.

My competitive record includes competing at the 2015 Canada Winter Games winning the bronze medal, the 2014 BC Winter Games winning the gold medal, 2 national championships including one with a top 10 finish, 5 junior national championships including 2 with top 15 finishes, and 8 provincial championships including 6 of which with podium finishes.

My goals this year include placing top 5 at the 2019 Canadian National Championships, as well as successfully completing a triple-triple combination jump on the national stage.

I am always looking for sponsors that are willing to support my skating. If you are interested, please contact me. Thank you!
